Excercising is tiring!

This is the same day as the last post. Bella had a hard time staying in one place and was doing lots of her baby push-ups and back scooting. she covered some pretty good ground!

She eats her wheaties

Well, she doesn't really eat wheaties yet, but rice cereal and pears seem to be delicious enough!

Her second day of doing baby push ups. (I think she has more muscle than mom!)

But Mom, I don't wanna sleep!

This is the first time we found Bella in her bed, on her stomach and happy. These first 2 pics were throught the crack in the door before she knew we were watching her.

And these, well she knew we were there to rescue her from bed and was quite happy about it.

First Food 9/15

So, one day when Bella was eating a bottle about every hour, we decided it might be a good time to let her try her first real food. I'm glad we got it on video because she definately tells stories with her facial expressions.
Now, I've started making homemade baby food for her and she's loving it. I cook the veggies or fruits, puree them, and them freeze them into little food cubes that we defrost when needed. She's trying pears this week (and loves them) and I think carrots will be next week.

Morning Person? Hmmn.

Caleb says he's a morning person... hmmn. Actually, he is, but I thought it was pretty funny when I found him like this one Sunday morning after he got up with Bella.

Roundy and Rosy

One thing I love about Bella are her cheeks. Did I just
hear you say "cherubic?" I think you just might be right.

The wind, blowing in her hair...

So, we had a 4 1/2 month photo shoot. Truth is, I bought the bow and thought it was so cute that pictures must be done. What can I say, I'm a sucker.

She's all shook up!

Bella was watching America's Got talent with Caleb and she went crazy when the Elvis impersonator came on. I don't know... maybe tall dark and handsome is her sort of thing...

Bella Meets Her Elmo

This is when Bella first met Elmo... he is now her Bff and life is much more fun. (and red, and high-pitched).

Thanks Lillemor and Bumpa!

4 Month Photo Shoot (8/26)

So. I'm trying to play catch up.
You know the saying "a day late and a dollar short" ???
Well, that would be generous for me.
But, these pics were too cute not to share, so enjoy!

The Tucker Family... 5 Generations of fun!

Mom T, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Eleesha were all in town when we first arrived in Utah. So, we spent some quality family time and Bella got to meet everyone for the first time.

On the way to Utah...

We went to Nauvoo, Illinois to see the Nauvoo Temple. It was a really pretty place, but it wasn't tourist season so everything was closed.

We also stopped at the Carthage Jail in Kirtland, Ohio

Moving time...

I'm pretty sure Bella loves moving (look at the excitement on her little face).

Tag...I'm it

So, I'm usually not into playing tag but I luv my friend Jayna who requested it, so I decided to play the game. :)
Here it is kids...

*3 Joys *
1. Traveling... I don't mean all of this moving we're doing, but real traveling to exotic, non-USA locations
2. Bella
3. Chill, family time with Caleb... it's the best

*3 Fears*
1. Migraines, migraines, migraines, ...Yuck. (Did that just count as all three fears?)
2. Moving another 6,7,8...(who's counting anymore?) times
3. Heights. Looking down railings especially.

*3 Goals*
1. Start painting again
2. Eventually do yoga consistently again
3. Maybe write a cookbook of my own recipes

*3 random surprising facts about me*
1. I want to become the next Rachel Ray... I even had a dream about it the other night...
2. luv, luv, luv popcorn. Crave it always and I am pretty much obsessed with it
3. Love to sing. I sing fairly well, too... but when no one's listening of course!

On the market

Crazy times call for crazy measures. So, just when we got our house remodeled just how we wanted it, it's officially up for sale. Here's the pics. Anybody want to buy a house in Ohio???

We got Canned!

Yes. it's true. Most of you know already, but for those who don't, Caleb is no longer a Ford employee. (I guess now we don't have to buy one of their cars!) They had company-wide layoffs for salaried employees and new hires were the first to go... we didn't stand a chance. So, there you have it-- life is definately never boring!

To be curly, or not to be...

So, it might be wishful thinking, but it seems that our Bella might have inherited the curly hair gene. I'm sure hopin' considering the fact that I have no idea of how to do staight hair!

3rd Month Photo Shoot

Once Again, I have to show off my darling Bella. Each month, I do a photo shoot so we can remember how she's changing. Caleb says I've taken about 1000 pictures of her so far... he might be right! :) Anyways, here are a 2 of my faves.

Tummy Time

Bella likes to hang out with Caleb. Belly time used to be fun (as shown in this picture), but now that her head has gotten bigger and heavier, she's not such a fan of it anymore.

The Newport Aquarium...Something smells fishy here!

This is my favorite picture of the sea life that I took. I think it looks a bit like a painting.
Me and my family
Caleb and Daniel bought special nectar that parrots like to eat and they were pretty much attacked by by dive-bombing birds. It was great fun to watch (as long as you stayed to the side so you weren't pooped on) !
Umm... what are they doing?
Our little fam (Bella's hiding in her sling)

Bella's Blessing

Family and Friends

Proud Dad
We pretty much adore her.
Little sleeping beauty
Since we planned the blessing and told our family the dates before we found out that that paticular Sunday was stake conference, we blessed Bella at our house with our close friends and family there with us.
It was pretty much one of the best days ever.
